Serving as a voice for the preborn and their parents, the Life Education Council, Inc. (LEC) is a
non-profit, volunteer, Christian organization with the dual Mission of providing help to pregnant
women and educating the public about the value of every human life, especially the preborn. It
accomplishes its mission through the distribution of lawn banners, public transportation
advertising, brochure display racks, and a free monthly newsletter, all aimed to assist pregnant
women in need and to enhance community awareness of the dignity of human life. We are a
501(c)(3) entity. All donations are tax deductible and used to support our Mission.
Banners
Life Education Council designs, produces and provides Choose Life banners, billboards and
transit posters directing mothers and fathers to pregnancy resource centers. These centers provide
free, confidential pregnancy tests, ultrasound screenings, pre-natal support and, after a baby’s
birth, compassionate guidance and assistance to moms. No woman should feel that aborting her
unborn child is her only choice.
Banners display a phone/text HELP number linking young girls and women faced with an
unexpected pregnancy to a pregnancy resource center in their community. The HELP network
directly connects to over 3,500 centers across the country to give girls and women the local help
they need and the choice to save their babies.
Since 2024, the LEC has been focusing on assisting pregnancy help centers in New Jersey where
abortion rights have been encoded in state law. We collaborate with New Jersey centers to design
banners and other forms of communication personalized for the centers and featuring their own
24/7 phone number and website. The message reaches local girls and women who are searching
for help.
We are now planning to offer our banners beyond the state of New Jersey, initially working with
pregnancy help centers in states in the mid-Atlantic region.
Newsletters
A recent addition to our services is the distribution of a monthly newsletter, Family & ProLife
News Briefs, sent by email without charge. One of our Trustees, Frank D. Tinari, Ph.D. is its
editor. The newsletter began distribution in 2012 and is used by churches and individuals
nationwide. Our plan for the newsletter is to expand its reach to many more churches and
individuals.
