The Life Education Council was founded 30 years ago. We are a volunteer organization. No donor monies are spent on salaries, offices and other such expenses. We are a 501 (c) (3). All donations are tax deductible, and every donation is used to support our work to direct frightened and abandoned women to a Pregnancy Resource Center where they can learn they have options other than abortion.
Life Education Council designs, produces and displays ‘Choose Life' banners, billboards and transit posters directing mothers and fathers to Pregnancy Resource Centers. The Centers provide free, confidential pregnancy tests, ultrasound screenings, pre/post natal support and compassionate guidance and assistance. No woman should feel that aborting her unborn child is her only choice.
The message communicates a Help phone/text number linking young girls and women faced with an unexpected pregnancy to a
Pregnancy Resource Center in their community. The HELP network directly connects to over
3,500 Centers across the country to give girls and women the local help they need and the choice to save their babies.
More recently, with the Supreme Court's overturn of Roe v. Wade and its ruling that policies on abortion be legislated by individual states, Life Education Council is focusing more of its efforts on New Jersey, a state that encoded abortion rights in state law. We are collaborating with New Jersey Pregnancy Resource Centers to design banners and other forms of communication personalized for the Centers with their 24/7 phone number and web-site. The message reaches local girls and women with unexpected pregnancies who are searching for help. It’s a person to person link to a New Jersey Pregnancy Resource Center in their community.
